The economist, now world-renowned for his anarcho-capitalist ideas, has chosen feminism as one of his most important ideological enemies, going so far as to deny the existence of gender pay gaps and declaring abortion as "murder aggravated by the relationship." At the same time, the government he heads is proud to be dismantling one by one the public policies aimed at protecting victims of violence and combating inequality. It is in this context that the wide range of political organizations and social movements that are grouped within Argentine feminism are positioned in a state of alert and permanent mobilization, participating in calls from broad sectors of society while producing their own political events, such as the calls for #8M and #NiUnaMenos. These photographs show some of the actions carried out in recent months with the aim of highlighting the massiveness and diversity that the movement is capable of achieving even in a context that is totally adverse to its survival.
